Knitting for a cause

Fourteen prayer shawls were donated by Bethany Lutheran Church in Ruskin to area elder care homes recently, and more prayer shawls are being created by local knitters. The photo, above, is from the website for the "Mother Bear Project," a charity responsible for giving more than 65,000 knitted bears to children in developing countries living with HIV/AIDS.
