Welcome! The shop opened yesterday, after just a little heater problem, we're up, running, and warm! Thanks Mick, James and Allen!
We've got a few things ordered, and on their way including:
DMC embroidery floss
Lion Brand yarn
gifts
gourmet coffee beans
quality sewing thread

Classes will begin Feb. 3, but you can come in anytime and Barb will be happy to start you knitting or crocheting, or give you tips.

I designed this blog for inspiration; perhaps you'll find something you're just dying to make for yourself or as a gift. Come in, grab a chair, and spread out. We're there to make things or just grab a cup of coffee and some homemade fudge and hang out for a while.

OPENING JANUARY 25

We'll be there Tuesdays through Saturdays, 12pm to 7pm.

We are offering:

Yarn: wool, acrylic, baby and sock by Cascade
Coming soon: Lion Brand yarn

Classes: knitting, crochet, computer, and selling online

Listings: We'll sell your stuff on ebay or etsy (handmade); we photograph it, list it, and take care of the packaging and shipping, no hassles for you, just bring in your lost stuff from the attic!

Photography: studio photography for families, senior portraits, and product photography (to list your own stuff online)

Gifts: So many things for Valentine's day, birthdays, etc! AND we offer gift wrapping!

OUR shop will not be filled as we'd like until mid-February; we're waiting on a few shipments: We're currently getting accounts going with DMC to have the ever-popular embroidery floss, whole coffee beans, and a broad variety of fun gifts you can't find anywhere else!!

Please stop by and bring your crafting supplies; we'd like Kitty Rose to be a meeting place for people to shop, hang out, craft and have fun!

There will also be open nights for crafting, including a night for "Stitch N Bitch" (bring anything you're working on!) and a scrapbooking night specifically for scrapbookers.

We're interested in having the things you need in Superior; please don't hesitate to make requests!

Keep Calm and Carry On

Keep Calm & Carry On

Keep Calm and Carry On was a poster produced by the British government in 1939 during the beginning of World War II, intended to raise the morale of the British public under the threat of impending invasion. It was little known and never used. The poster was rediscovered in 2000 and has been re-issued by a number of private sector companies, and used as the decorative theme for a range of other products. There are only two known surviving examples of the poster in the public domain.

Here's an example of one of the parodies, now the slogan for the new DIY generation:

Get Excited and Make Things

We're liking this one:
